I bought meat today. One kilo of steak and a piece of pork tenderloin. It looked pretty icky, and when I got home, I had to slice it and freeze it to make bite-sized portions to fry. It was good meat, and the slices looked good. But I must admit that I feel like a meat novice. I've been a vegetarian most of my life, but started eating meat again a couple years ago. I never liked much; that's why I stopped eating it. When I got diabetes, I started eating it again because it does not raise blood sugar significantly. You get used to it.
